Summary:

I work full time as a consultant in End-to-End Analytics, a supply chain consulting company based in Silicon Valley, California. My main job is to help the clients boost their income by optimizing everyday operations. I started working as a consultant in the USA in early 2018 at Acorn Analytics, where after a few successful projects, I was offered a transfer to End-to-End Analytics.

I work 100% remotely and enjoy frequent visits to the office and clients in the USA.

Recent projects that I worked on include:

Consulting project for US market leading car manufacturer, where I

  • lead the team of consultants on python-based tool for automatic dealer ordering recommendations; the aim of the tool was to suggest to each dealer list of optimal car configurations with respect to forecasted demand, production allocation and constraints
  • worked on the demand forecasting and data processing part of the tool
  • built tool for creating list of all possible configurations within constraints
  • optimized the tool for best performance on Spark / Hadoop cluster

This project is estimated to provide additional $70M of income for the client every year

Consulting project for North America market leader in bakery product manufacturing, where I

  • Worked with the team of developers on web-based, .net core application for price promotion planning
  • lead the team that designed and implemented numerous processes responsible for data input and output
  • prepared continuous integration and continuous delivery solution for the team using GitHub, Jenkins and Amazon AWS Lambda
  • designed and built cloud-based infrastructure to testing the application (Amazon AWS EC2 servers, AWS RDS database servers, AWS S3 storage system, AWS Transfer SFTP file transfer service, and AWS Lambda serverless code execution)
  • designed and implemented set of tools for testing input data quality and performance

Privately:

Science September 2012 I'm happily married to Agnieszka. We have three great daughters: Clementine (5 years old), Matilda (4 months old), and Jasmin (2 years old).

We currently live near Warsaw, Poland, but hope for opportunity to move to the USA.

I love animals: especially dogs and parrots. For my whole live there was a dog sleeping in my bed.

If allowed by busy daily schedule I like to do DIY: building and repairing electronics and doing some woodworking.

Teaching:

One of my duties at the University is teaching students. Every semester I have one or two groups of students. Depending on semester I teach Python programming, SQL and database programing, programming microcontrollers or basic electronics.
